Sitting on the thin strand of barrier beach between the Atlantic Ocean and Reynolds Channel in South Nassau is the Lido Golf Club, a true test for both the beginning and advanced golfer.
The 18-hole "Lido Beach" course at the Lido Beach Golf Course facility in Lido Beach, New York, features 6913 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and the ASGCA, the Lido Beach golf course opened in 1940. Steven Rofrano manages the course as the General Manager. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are rye grass.
This picturesque and challenging seaside links course features elevated greens guarded by massive bunkers, significant water hazards, and what some consider the toughest stretch of finishing holes of any course on the Island.
